Why Become a PADI Open Water Diver?
Dive Oahu has been training new divers on the island for over 20 years! Our instructors are the best on the island and we’re committed to providing the best diving experience for you. PADI Certifications are the most widely recognized and respected ratings in the world. As a PADI Open Water Diver, you can dive with a buddy, independent of a professional.
NO experience necessary!
Learn to dive with one on one instruction from one of our skilled instructors. Take your time working through skills and class work with a skilled professional by your side.
Dive Oahu’s custom classes are ideal for the busy future diver. The certification can be completed in two-three days of your choosing (depending upon your availability). You and your instructor will work together to decide what schedule will work best for you.
During the course, you will be given PADI’s Open Water eLearning Program. Since this is online, you can learn at your own pace, anytime and anywhere. You will then complete five confined water (pool) dives, water skills assessment, knowledge development session and four open water (ocean) dives.
Anyone who is in good health and comfortable in the water is welcome! For those aged 10-14, there is also a PADI Junior Open Water Program.
